The new Nissan Maxima and Murano made their official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The full-size sedan and midsize SUV feature refreshed designs that put them on par with luxury vehicles.
Although eco-friendly auto enthusiasts had been hoping for a new electric car, the new Nissan Maxima and Murano were certainly a welcome sight. Notably, Nissan did show off its brand-specific electric ecosystem.
The Maxima’s most noticeable updates include a larger front grille with V-motion flow. Sculpted lines move over the hood and sides of the full-size sedan. Redesigned taillights add a sophisticated touch. Inside, the Maxima features more premium materials, including available Rakuda Tan semi-aniline leather appointments.
Much like the Maxima, the new Nissan Murano sees several major updates as well. The refreshed model includes a grille similar to the one found on the Maxima. Inside, drivers can choose from three new interior trim finishes. Available diamond-quilted Rakuda Tan semi-aniline leather elevates the cabin.
Performance enthusiasts can rest easy. The Maxima retains its 300-horsepower V6 engine. The Murano continues to carry a 260-horsepower V6 engine paired with intelligent all-wheel drive.
