Nissan will be unveiling the new 2015 Murano, a completely redesigned version of the popular SUV, at the New York International Auto Show, which begins on April 17th. To garner even more anticipation, Nissan also released a ten second teaser video that reveals just a tiny bit of the Murano’s new design. The video starts on a headlight and then pans around to the side of the vehicle before fading out.
The Murano “features a spacious, premium interior and advanced, purposeful safety and connective technology,” and will be built in Canton, Mississippi, at the Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant. The Canton plant will thus become the sole place of Murano production worldwide, sending it out to over 100 new car markets. The Murano will be the ninth vehicle overall in the Canton production lineup.
We’re still waiting to see exactly what Nissan has come up with for the 2015 Murano, but the teaser video and our empirical knowledge of Nissan’s excellence have us pretty excited here at Cronic Nissan. Make sure to check out the Murano’s unveiling on the 17th and then check back with us here on the blog for more Murano news very soon!
