With September in full swing and October on its way, autumn is upon us. Fortunately, there are plenty of family-friendly fall activities to participate in. We at Cronic Nissan suggest you add these to your family’s fall bucket list.
Go to a Farm
In the fall, lots of farms open their doors to visitors for activities like corn mazes, picking pumpkins, going on hayrides, and more. Check out some of the local farms near you to see if they’re holding any fall festivities.
While autumn has become associated with pumpkin-flavored foods and drinks, apples are also coming in for the harvest season, which means plenty of apple pie, apple cider, caramel apples, and other seasonal treats.
Have a Bonfire
There’s nothing quite like building a bonfire on a crisp evening. Sweaters, blankets, cups of hot cocoa, and s’mores—what more could you want?
This can be a fun way to teach the kids life skills. While there are plenty of fun fall treats you can buy from the store or from local farms, it’s also fun to make your own treats, like pumpkin pie or Halloween-themed sugar cookies.
Jump in Piles of Leaves
Simple, but a classic. Have the little ones help you rake the yard, then spend the day jumping in the piles of fallen leaves.
Try these family-friendly fall activities for an autumn you won’t forget.
