New Nissan Maxima is Sportier than Ever for 2016 Model

New Nissan Maxima

The Nissan Maxima has long been touted by its brand as a “four door sports car,” which, as you might imagine, is somewhat of a rare breed. In fact, it sounds mysteriously like a myth—that is, until you actually drive the new Nissan Maxima. The 2016 model is sportier than ever, features a beautiful exterior design, and plenty of interior comfort. So, it’s true—the new Maxima is comfortable both while jetting down the highway and transporting the kids to and from school.

The new Maxima jets out 300 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V6 engine, making it one of the throatier sedans out on the road today. It also gets 261 lb-ft of torque, features an Xtronic CVT, and comes with a Drive Mode Selector that allows you to tweak your driving experience to your exact specifications. You can choose between Normal and Sport modes.

The Nissan Maxima also features an improved body platform, thanks to high-strength steels that both increase the car’s rigidity as well as lowering its weight. It comes with tons of safety technology, from Blind Spot Warning to Intelligent Cruise Control to Forward Emergency Braking, so you can drive with ease and confidence. New Nissan Rogue Hybrid Coming to United States Market

Nissan Rogue Hybrid

The Nissan Rogue is one of the sleekest, most popular SUVs on the road today—which is saying quite a lot, given how popular the SUV segment has become in the modern vehicle market. Now, Nissan is looking to capitalize on the Rogue’s success by bringing a new Nissan Rogue Hybrid version to the United States market in 2016.

The current Nissan Rogue features a four-cylinder engine, comes with seating for seven passengers, and offers a low starting price, all of which contribute massively to its success. The new hybrid Rogue will simply translate all that value to an EV model, providing even more efficiency to Rogue drivers. The Nissan Rogue hybrid will also be the first Nissan model to feature an in-house Nissan hybrid design.

The new Rogue Hybrid should hit the United States market sometime next year, and it’s not the only new SUV on its way here. The Qashqai model currently available in Europe will hit North America as well. “We haven’t hit the ceiling (for Rogue sales) yet,” said Nissan senior vice president of US sales, Fred Diaz. “We have more opportunity there, if we can get our dealers more (Rogues).” Come see us at Cronic Nissan to learn more.
